Educational Objectives

    To enhance students’ professional competencies and align them with career development, the Institute has planned the following educational objectives:
  • Objective 1: Cultivate professionals and researchers in the field of digital learning
  • The Institute’s required courses include professional required courses such as Digital Learning Development and Trends and Advanced Learning Theories, enabling students to develop professional competence and a spirit of research in the field of digital learning.
  • Objective 2: Cultivate digital learning leaders with an international perspective
  • In the Institute’s courses Seminar on Literature and Special Topics Seminar, experts and scholars from Taiwan and abroad are invited to deliver lectures on campus each semester. This enables students to understand global development trends in the digital industry, broaden their international perspectives through interaction with international scholars, and inspire innovative thinking, with the aim of becoming future leaders.
  • Objective 3: Cultivate R&D and management professionals for the digital learning industry
  • In addition to emphasizing breakthroughs in information technology theory and techniques, the Institute also stresses solid learning in the field of learning. Students have ample room for interdisciplinary integration and development, enabling them to acquire more diverse professional knowledge, theories, and technical backgrounds. Whether they pursue future development in academia or industry, they will possess a certain level of competitiveness.
  • Objective 4: Cultivate digital practice professionals who effectively enhance learning and teaching
  • The curriculum design emphasizes experiments and observations in teaching settings, enabling teachers in the field to fully apply information technology to improve teaching quality and students’ learning outcomes.

Core Competency Development

    Based on its educational objectives, the Institute establishes core competency requirements and plans and designs courses in accordance with faculty members’ areas of expertise, so that students can meet the Institute’s core competency requirements after completing the required credits.

  • Develop the ability to apply different research methods for planning and integration, and to promote the development of the digital learning industry.

  • Possess an international perspective and competencies across various fields.
